4 Day 3 Night Toubkal Ascent From Marrakech

We hike in the foothills of the Toubkal, an area of extraordinary beauty, passing through villages, valleys, forests and mountains. Your reward is a stunning view over the entire Western Atlas from the summit of the Toubkal 4167m (13000ft).

Itinerary
Day 1: On arrival in Marrakech you will be met by us who will assist with the short transfer to the group hotel in the city. Depending on your flight arrival time, you may have the opportunity to do a little exploration around the nearby Djeema el Fna.night in the hôtel.
Day 2: After breakfast we drive south out of Marrakech(1hour and half by car), towards the Atlas Mountains and the start point of our trek, Imlil. A brisk climb up the Mizan Valley and see tha kasbah toubkal morocco where the film Kundun of Martine scorses moved in 1997,and passes through picturesque farmland and into the rocky peaks of the Atlas before arriving at our accommodation for the night, the Toubkal Refuge (3207m).
5 hours walking.
Day 3: A long day for the ascent of Jebel Toubkal (4167m) like(13000 feet). Following an early start our route zigzags upwards towards the summit.(3hours up and 2hours down to our refuge for lunch)and 4hours again to Imlil, After time to enjoy the panoramic views we return to Imlil to meet our transport and drive back to Marrakech;night in the hôtel.
Day 4: our services end after breakfast. Complimentary airport transfers to Marrakech airport are provided for clients departing on this day.
Altitude
This holiday involves going to high altitude. During the course of your trip you will reach altitudes in excess of 3500 metres. This is not something that you should worry about; the human body is quite capable of adapting to a very wide range of altitudes, but it is important that we follow some simple rules in order to acclimatise successfully.

Accommodation
During this trip the group will spend two nights at a tourist class hotel in Marrakech. While there are several more expensive hotels in Marrakech, we try to strike the right balance of a comfortable and conveniently located hotel while maintaining a really good value holiday. We will also spend a single night at the Toubkal Refuge below Toubkal. Accommodation in Marrakech is arranged on a twin-sharing basis. If you are travelling by yourself you will be paired up with another single client of the same sex. Accommodation in the refuge is dormitory-style. For the 2 hotel nights in Marrakech single rooms are available at additional cost. Additional hotel nights in Marrakech are also available.
